The Smoky Edit is our family's home away from home in Cobbly Nob, just outside Gatlinburg, and we'd love to welcome you. Step into the great room, where a leather sofa and modern recliners face a 75" TV on a motorized mantel mount, the kind of main-floor gathering space that makes staying in the easy choice. The onyx chef's kitchen sits just beyond, fully stocked with new stainless appliances and its own coffee bar, opening onto a handmade wood dining table that seats 8, with a gas grill just steps away on the main deck for easy cookouts. Down the hall from the great room, a private queen bedroom offers easy single-level living, with its own updated bath just a step away — new granite counters, vanity, mirror, and a fully renovated shower. The two doors sit right next to each other, so it feels ensuite without technically being one. Wherever you sleep in the cabin, every bed comes with new elevated frames, premium bedding, and a luxury mattress, comfort you feel the moment you lie down. 3 bedrooms, 5 beds, sleeping 8 in all. Upstairs, the primary suite feels like a boutique hotel: a sitting area perfect for morning coffee or evening wine, a desk tucked into a picture window with mountain views — as good for getting real work done as it is for staring out and doing nothing at all — and a spa-style ensuite bath with a walk-in shower and new vanity. Just steps away, the loft is where the lasting memories of the trip get made. Signature hanging swings look out over sweeping mountain views, with a coffee bar close at hand for whoever's up first. Step out to the walkout deck, where a fire pit faces open ridgeline views of the Smokies — Adirondack chairs for enchanting sunrises, or come dusk, wine and firelight as the mountains go quiet. Head downstairs to the game room, built for rainy days, friendly competition, big games, and movie nights: an 85" TV with a Nintendo Switch 2, bean bag seating, and a full pool table. Step out to the lower deck for a second fire pit tucked beneath the tree canopy — the low-key spot for s'mores after a game room rematch — plus your private hot tub under the stars. The lower level retreat features a queen bed, premium rustic bunk the kids will fight over, and French doors that open straight out to it all. Three decks in all — main floor, loft, and lower level — each with its own reason to linger: sunrise coffee, sunset wine, or just the quiet of the mountains after dark. Every level has its own view of the Smokies. A cabin built to be richly lived in, not just looked at.

This is a mountain retreat, not a party venue. Unregistered guests and gatherings are not permitted and may result in immediate cancellation. Smoking or vaping anywhere on the property may result in a remediation and cleaning charge of up to $500. Unauthorized pets are a violation of house rules and may result in the reservation being ended early, plus an additional cleaning charge of up to $400. Mountain roads can wind — drive with care after dark or in winter weather. A panoramic exterior security camera is present for guest safety.
