Room By Room

The House Guide

A tour of the cabin and the details that make each space work.

Living Room

Sink into it.

New leather sofa and modern recliners around a 75" TV on a motorized mount that adjusts to the perfect viewing angle from anywhere in the room. Luxury vinyl plank flooring and refreshed lighting run throughout the main level.

Kitchen & Dining

Cook like you mean it.

A fully updated galley kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, granite counters, a coffee bar, and dinnerware and cookware for a full group. The handmade wood dining table comfortably seats 8 for family dinners.

Loft

The best seat in the house.

Hanging chairs and a coffee bar look out toward the peaks of Mt. LeConte — an unforgettable spot for a quiet morning coffee. Step out onto the loft deck with modern Polywood Adirondack chairs, perfect for sipping wine at dusk or coffee as the sun rises behind the mountain.

Primary Suite

A spa-like retreat.

On one side of the bed, a desk sits along a picture-frame window with breathtaking mountain views — as inspiring for remote work as it is relaxing. On the other, a private sitting area of its own — a quiet spot with the same mountain view for easing into the morning, reading, or winding down at night. The renovated bath features a walk-in shower, new vanity, and updated lighting.

Lower Level

Game room & bunks.

An 85" TV with a Nintendo Switch 2, luxurious bean bag seating, and a pool table make the game room the hub for movie nights, friendly competition, big games and rainy afternoons. The lower-level retreat features a queen bed and log bunk, with French doors that open straight out to the fire pit and hot tub on the lower deck. All beds throughout the cabin have new frames, plush luxury mattresses, and premium bedding.

Outdoor Living

Where the magic happens.

A private hot tub and fire pit area on the lower deck, a gas grill ready to go on the main-level deck, and Polywood chairs, gliders, and rockers round out the outdoor seating. Freshly stained decks and tension-wire railing keep the mountain views unobstructed.

Good To Know

How Things Work

A quick guide to the cabin's favorite features.

All TVs

Streaming made easy.

Each TV is set up with the common streaming apps. Log in to your favorites and pick up right where you left off on your shows. Please log out when you leave.

Living Room TV

Movie night, dialed in.

The TV is mounted on a state-of-the-art motorized mount that lowers to a comfortable viewing angle while watching and raises above the mantel when not in use. The small black remote has two pre-programmed buttons: M1 raises the TV to the top position, M2 lowers it to viewing position. You can also control it manually with the arrow buttons — just be sure it isn't lowered into contact with the mantel. The white remote controls the TV itself: click any button to bring up the navigation tiles, click Watch TV, then choose the app you'd like to sign into. No need to sign out of this one — you're automatically logged out at checkout.

Gameroom TV

Game on.

To get to the Switch 2, use the TV remote to change the input to the HDMI port it's plugged into. To get back to the big game, movie, or streaming app, just switch back to the correct input.

Hot Tub

Just lift the cover.

No adjustment needed — the temperature is already set, and the jets turn on and off automatically as they sense someone get in or out.

Loft Fire Pit

Push, turn, glow.

Push the main control dial inward and rotate it to activate the internal battery-operated spark, then adjust the flame to your liking.

Lower Deck Fire Pit

Two hands, one spark.

Turn the gas control knob with one hand while pressing and holding the separate igniter button with the other to strike the spark.

If either fire pit fails to ignite, open the hidden side door and make sure the propane tank valve is turned to open.
House Rules

Please Treat It Like Home

We've poured a lot into this cabin and use it for our family retreats, so please treat it with care.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM out of respect for the neighbors.
Maximum occupancy is 8 guests — no exceptions.
No smoking or vaping anywhere inside the cabin.
No parties, events, or additional visitors beyond registered guests.
No pets allowed.
Please supervise children around the hot tub and fire pit at all times.
Turn off the hot tub jets and extinguish the fire pit fully before bed.
Please don't move furniture between rooms or take linens outside.
Trash goes in the bear-proof cage off the driveway — please secure the pin to keep our furry neighbors out.
Please keep the cabin tidy; excessive messes will incur an additional cleaning charge.
Damages, breakage, or anything out of the ordinary? Just let us know — accidents happen, and we'd always rather hear it from you first.
